简介：S2K总线分离技术可以在不损失性能的情况下使CPU在运行大多数Windows应用程序时减低功耗并降低发热量，S2K总线分离技术是这样实现的：当CPU收到HALT指令(HALT就是停止指令，表示CPU没有需要处理的指令而进入空闲状态)时，CPU会转入等待状态，这时候CPU的功率消耗和发热量都会相应降低。将CPU转入低耗能状态需要主板芯片组和BIOS的支持，所以AMD将要求所有主板厂商通过S2K总线分离技术的认证。但是目前情况是S2K总线分离技术尚未普及，绝大多数主板都不能将CPU转到低耗能状态，所以即使在空闲状态下，Athlon XP处理器的发热量仍然相当高。NGO网站给我们带来了一款基于上述原理制作的nForce2芯片组驱动，驱动安装有三个选项，分别是1.enable S2K bus disconnection without HALT detection (C1/2 - advanced mode)。这个安装选项可以绕过HALT指令检测直接打开S2K bus disconnection功能，处理器这个时候工作在C1/2模式下，这个模式下处理器在最低时间内回复指令，而系统执行的应用程序完全不受到影响，这个模式降温效果最明显。2.enable S2K bus disconnection with HALT detection (C1 - basic mode)。这个选项支持HALT指令检测。3.disable S2K bus disconnection。这个选项当然是关闭S2K bus disconnection辅助散热功能功能了。经过我们一位编辑简单测试，在一款支持S2K总线分离技术的EPoX磐正EP-8RDA3+主板上打开选项1之后15分钟内，处理器温度从47摄氏度下降到了39摄氏度，降温效果还是非常明显的，需要的朋友您不妨试试。注意这是一款非官方发布的修改驱动，安装可能导致不可预料的系统故障，请在做好备份工作后谨慎使用.
