Intel GMA 900 对WDDM说NO！
一年前，看着周围的人都陆陆续续地购买了笔记本电脑，心里也禁不住诱惑，也搞了一台。在商店里千挑万选，又是考虑性价比又是考虑便携性，所以就选择了Lenovo E660G，具体配置 P(M) 1.73G ,512M DDR2,60G,集成 Mobile Intel 915 GM/GMS显卡（重点），曾经用过很多G系列的集成显卡，而本身又不是对游戏特别狂热的一个人，够用就行。想不到就是这样一个想法，彻底断送了在这个本本上装Vista的想法。虽然看过很多用超烂配置安装Vista的先例，但是个人认为微软的最低配置要求还是有一定道理的，否则这么多工程师在一起制定的最低要求岂不成了笑话？
抱着最后一点希望，想去微软网站上去看看他们究竟会不会给900系列的显卡出WDDM驱动，如果有的话，则表明还是有希望的！结果给我当头一棒！Intel在其站点上的最新Windows Vista相关Q&A中公布了显示芯片驱动情况,让人沮丧的是它将从Intel® 945 Express芯片组开始提供WDDM支持,原因是英特尔认为提供WDDM驱动将影响系统性能和内存读写兼容性,也就是说,大批GMA900芯片的用户如果不升级显示卡将无缘Aero Glass.
