一再推迟发布的Ubuntu 6.06(Dapper Drake)现在终于可以网上预订了，和以前一样，免费邮寄！不过这次有最多只能申请10套的限制，而且预订后光盘在6月初寄出。另外，没有Launchpad帐户的需要注册一个才可以申请免费的ubuntu光盘。

我得了六张盘，就是没工具盘，哎~~~~

6月7号就订了，还没有到，估计快了。

当地时间6月1日，Ubuntu推出了其最新的版本6.06LTS ，代号“Dapper Drake”。
Ubuntu的附属项目在原先的Kubuntu（kde桌面）、edubuntu（教育系统）的基础上增加了xubuntu（xface桌面）效果虽差，但性能可是一流的。在光盘发布类型上也在desktop和server的基础上增加了一个更加灵活的Alternate。好笑的是desktop版的ubuntu竟然提供了windows下的Firefox Thunderbird adiword gaim gimp等开源软件，而且做成了光盘自动执行。。。。
